Extreme Crochet....

Did you spot the Invisible Man?  I didn't at first.....what an incredible piece of artwork using the art of crochet.  The person who made this - a Polish-born artist called Olek - would have been a newbie crocheter at the start, so we can all aspire to doing amazing things!

Crochet Pouf

I've had my eye on this style of pouf available in the shops at the moment, but the average price being charged is extortionate!  I came across a free crochet pattern to make the one pictured above, and thought I'd share it with you here: http://www.pickles.no/porch-pouf/.

It's now on my list of 'things to make'.  I only have cotton yarn in white at the moment and although it would start off looking lovely, it's impractical to use white with young children around!  I'll have to find some suitable yarn in a darker color....any excuse to top up my yarn stash :).
